Qalipu First Nation

Through our work with the Qalipu First Nation, we feel that we have experienced something beyond a client/agency relationship.

By graciously allowing us to immerse ourselves in their lives and traditions, the Qalipu community has given us a deeper understanding of who they are and what they represent.

We’ve learned that the word Mi’kmaq comes from the word, nikmaq, meaning my kin-friends or allies. Our WaterWerks team is grateful to be considered friends and allies of the Qalipu people.
