Mistaken Point Nomination for UNESCO World Heritage Status
Mistaken Point has been nominated for inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site because of the presence of the 560 million year old fossils that exist there. WaterWerks was entrusted to present the scientific evidence in the Nomination Dossier, for review by an International Panel of experts.
